 "Grey Owl"

Discover the story of Archibald Stanfeld Belaney, the Englishman from a good family who immigrated to Canada at the age of 17 years and who became known as “Grey Owl”. During 20 years, he was a guide, hunter and trapper who later dedicated himself to the protection of the beaver, which had been in the process of extinction. Pioneer of the ecological ideology, Grey Owl is the author of numerous books and articles concerning the protection of species. He resided in Temiscouata from 1928 until 1931.
